I have been having some trouble keeping up with all the blogs that I want to keep an eye on lately. Since Blogorithm switched to RSSFWD, I have been having a lot of trouble accessing their website. Now Blogger has a space to manage blogs and I am so happy! Please check on the list under my profile to make sure that you are there or else I can't find your blog. If it is not there please leave a comment with it or email it to me again! Thanks!

Ped. Cardiologist & Job Offer
For those of you who did not know, before leaving NY this summer Miah's doctor heard a heart murmur. She wanted us to take Miah to a Pediatric Cardiologist to make sure it was just a murmur, especially with the heart problems on both sides of our family. We went on Friday and Miah's heart is perfect. The doctor said she was too healthy to be seen by them again and he didn't see or hear a murmur. Yeah! It is such a relief that we don't have to worry about that. I can't imagine what my brother and SIL go through each time my niece has a heart procedure.
Also, our other big news is that JD was called about a job at Westminster. It was just for a 2 credit class. We really debated about whether we should accept this, but after many prayers and thoughts we decided to turn it down. Part of me is VERY sad not to be returning to Utah, but it really just did not feel right.

NYC and 30th Birthday
The kids and I made it safely back to NYC on Tuesday morning. We took the night flight, so we left UT at 11:50 pm and arrived in NYC about 6 in the morning. Miah slept for about 3 hours on the plane, but Isaac slept only about 45 minutes. Luckily, he wasn't really whiney. He just wanted to play with the buttons, eat snacks, and move the visor of the window up and down. The kids were so excited to be with JD again. They have been clinging to him and he has to everything for them if he is home. He took off Tuesday and Wednesday to spend some time with us. It was wonderful to have our family be together again.
The Donegans have been so kind and wonderful to us. Martha and Dennis moved out of their big room to let us stay in there. The plan was for Miah and Lilly to share a room, but Miah has yet to spend a night in there. I think she is still a little hesitant to let her Daddy out her sight. The basement floor is hopefully going to get started this week, so maybe we can move downstairs in a week and half or two. Then we will have the downstairs as our space and can give them their bedroom back. The Donegans really are amazing people and we are so grateful to have them in our lives.
Yesterday, was my 30th birthday. I'm not sure that I was ready for that to happen. We had a friend from JD's work watch the kids and went and spent the night at theTarrytown House and Estate (click on the link if you would like to see some pictures). We had a lovely room that looked over the pool. The place was AMAZING! The estate included 3 mansions; two built in the 1800's and one in the early 1900's. It was so nice to spend some alone time with JD. It helped ease the pain of being 30, except that I have a horrible cold. We splurged by ordering room service for dinner and breakfast was included in our stay.

His birthday is on Tuesday, the 12th. I can't believe that we are not going to be together!

Summer update
We have been having a fun summer seeing friends and family in Utah. We went to the Syme cabin for the 24th of July. We went to the parade in Fountain Green, which is a great kid parade. Isaac was so excited by everything, especially all the candy they throw out. He had a hard time staying behind the white line like I asked him too. As you can see in the picture, he just kept creeping over it.
Miah was fine until the sirens going off on the fire trucks. After that she was stuck to Grandpa Syme's leg. They also went fishing for the first time. Grandpa Syme helped them each catch and release one.

Wilson reunion and summer update
My dirty kids in Colorado.
We hadn't even been there an hour and Miah looked like this.
Isaac looked like he had a black eye because of all the dirt.
Miah and Isaac playing miniature golf @Snow Mountain Ranch in Colorado.
Watching fireworks.
Miah at my Wilson reunion.
No news yet on what we are doing. JD sent in more applications with a deadline of Aug 15th. We haven't decided what to do or when we feel like we can even make any decisions.
It has been nice seeing so many friends and family. I still haven't seen a few. I would like to make it to Ogden and Logan before possibly leaving.
We are going to the Syme cabin for the 24th of July. While there we will go to a great parade in Fountain Green.
