Christmas 2010
We had a great Christmas. My parents came up that morning to watch the kids open their gifts and to enjoy orange rolls. We played for a couple of hours, then went to WJ to watch the new Narnia movie. Then, we went to the Syme's house for a Christmas dinner.
Yesterday, the kids played and we relaxed.

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve at the extended Syme family Christmas dinner we had a surprise guest. Here are a couple of pictures of the kids with Santa. They also got to see him at the Wilson Family Christmas party, but I forgot my camera that day!

Christmas Suprise & Doctor
JD surprised me by building some new shelves for my scrapbook stuff and giving me these beautiful calla lillies!
FYI: Some of you know that I have been having some health problems lately. I finally went to the doctor today. They did a biopsy of my uterus and took some blood for some tests. We will find out more on Jan. 24th

Hunting For Elves
We went to Gardner Village to hunt for Elves. It was decorated really cute. The kids, especially Miah would get so excited when they found one. It was fun until the end when Isaac was running on the cobblestone sidewalk and did a header into it. He had a nice goose egg and bruise on his forehead. He also cut his lip and scratched the side of his nose.

Thanksgiving
We had a nice Thanksgiving with the Syme family this year. I forgot my camera, so I do not have any pictures. Oops!
We enjoyed dinner at Dave and Peggy's around 2. Then headed down to Jeff and Tiscia's to get ready for Black Friday shopping. JD even got in the action this year by going himself to Walmart at midnight. Tiscia and I were there at 5. We didn't return until after 11. It was fun, but I spend more than I meant to!

I've been wondering what I was going to do this year. For years I have been making my own Christmas cards, but this year I didn't know if I would have time. I know that we couldn't afford something I really loved and so I was excited to see this offer from Shutterfly!
My favorite Christmas Cards that I have sent were around 3 years ago when JD drew the pictures of Miah and Isaac. I printed their pictures on cardstock and used a circle punch to cut out their faces. I made the rest of the card with scrapbook supplies but they turned out so cute. I loved the design and the colors (of course since my favorite is maroon). I love that I could share my kid’s faces with everyone, not just the few family members that I could afford to give photos to. Shutterfly has some really cute stuff. I've only developed some pictures once from them, so I'm excited to try some new products.

BooNanza - Oct 21
We went to the BooNanaza at the Aquatic Center again this year. Our friends Tiscia, Nathan and Zach joined up this year. Thanks guy! Hope you had as much fun as we did (well except for Zach crying and Miah getting a black eye!)

Fire Truck Ride
W
We have been busy moving, so we haven't been up to much besides that. They had an open house at the local fire station here, so we decided to go. The kids had fun eating cookies and riding in firetrucks.

We are moving!
Yeah! We are moving!! We are getting into a three bedroom and 1.5 bath Townhouse! We are super excited! It will be stressful to get it all ready, but so worth it! We are hoping to be moved within about two weeks or so. We are going to paint this weekend. The carpet people will be scheduled next week and then we can get in. I will post pictures when we get in! The kitchen is even bigger than the one that I have now, which is big, so I'm excited!!
For change of address, it will be the same just change #12 to #17.

Miah's School Picture
Here is a picture of Miah going to school this morning. I felt really bad that her first day of school pictures are not working because of a bad memory card. This is at least the outfit that she wore on the first day.

Isaac's 1st Day of Preschool
Isaac had his first day today. He loved it! I'm so glad that it went smoothly once he got there because it was a crazy morning. JD had to work last night, so we got a late start as it was. When he got here, JD carried Isaac to the car for me. When we got to WJ I looked at Isaac and he did not have any shoes on because JD didn't put any on. So we had to run to buy him a new pair of shoes before school started. I was going to do his hair when we got to WJ, but I forgot, because of the shoe issue. He got a little upset when he asked if I was staying with him and I told him no. He did great though and was so excited!

Grandma's 80th Birthday
Yesterday we went down to Lane and Lari's to celebrate my Grandma's 80th Birthday! It was good to see family that we don't get to see very often. We had a BIG celebration at the family reunion in July, so this was a smaller dinner on he actual birthday.
Happy Birthday Grandma!

I'm getting OLD!
So I just had my birthday on Monday and I feel really old lately. What happened? I should still be like 25 right?
Isaac threw up in the night before my birthday, but he felt better that day. Miah came home from school not feeling well. Sure enough about 30 minutes after we picked her up she started throwing up. She did a lot more than Isaac. Luckily, we are all feeling better now.

No first day of first grade pictures!
I am so mad! Our memory card went weird on us and won't recognize my pictures. Now there is just a big question mark where the pics of Miah on her first day of first grade are gone! I'm so bummed. If anyone has had problems like this and fixed it somehow, let me know!

Goblin Valley
We went camping to Goblin Valley over the weekend with Jeff and Tiscia. It was FUN, but it was VERY HOT!
Things have been really busy for us this summer, so sorry for not updating too often. It seems like in the last month I have forgot my camera to more things than actually remembered! We have had fun at the Wilson Reunion (July 3-5) Funk cabin (July 9-11), Zach's Birthday and staying in Springville (July 17-18), Syme cabin(24th weekend), movies every week for the summer w/ Jenni and kids, Murphy Reunion (August 2), My cousins wedding and Goblin Valley.

Camping
We went camping up Farmington Canyon last weekend. We had a good time and it was nice to get away.
We have busy keeping up with everything. JD is on days right now at work being trained. We aren't sure how long it is going to last. The lady who is training him said that she feels like he knows what he is doing, which is good.
We are excited that Greg and Tara and their family are here for a visit. It is good to see them. I can't believe how big the kids are. Last time we saw Ezra he was 6 months and now he is 3. It is crazy how fast they grow up!
