Transfer

JD had asked to be in Receiving because they were suppose to have the earliest times, which we were hoping to have JD home in time to be here for Miah from school. Today, he was transferred over to Quality Assurance because the supervisor there had been fighting for him to come over to her crew. We found out though that if you want to get promoted it sounds like they like it when you are in quality assurance. It also sounds like he may make more money in QA because they have to know more and be certified in more areas. There may even be a chance for him to work earlier. His one-on-one trainer told him today that in their warehouse they have a crew of QA that do cycle counts and work from 2 am-10:30 am. That would be awesome!
JD's cousins husband mom works for the art dept at SUU and he let us know that they will be hiring for next year. He also works with Joan (the people who have been publishing his b&w work) and see works with two professors there. JD was suppose to meet them, but their plans to come out to NY last year fell through. Anyway, with three possible connections we are hopeful that this may be the "IN" that we need to get some experience that he needs.
Just a quick update about JD.

Happy Valentines!!!!!

Things have been so busy lately, that I don't update this as much. Sorry!

Miah had her parent teacher conferences last week. She is doing great and loves school. I went and helped with the class Valentines Party yesterday. It is fun to see her in that atmosphere.

Isaac is still being stubborn and won't potty train. We have tried treats, "shooting cheerios", putting him on every 15 min (then he just holds it), and everything we can think of. I keep telling him that if he doesn't start that they won't let him in school next year (for preschool).

We got our taxes done, which is always a relief. Now, just waiting for the refund. We are going to get a new mattress for us since we have never had a new one (we've used one from my parents that they didn't want any more) and pay off debt.
