We went to Pier 88 to see the USS IWO JIMA that was in the Harbor for Fleet Week. We thought Isaac would really like seeing the tanks and helicopters. While in the ship with the tanks, trucks and big guns he was a little nervous. On the top with all the helicopters he was excitedly running from one to another.

Lightening McQueen Birthday Cake

This is my first attempt at decorating a cake. JD helped me too. We had fun doing it together even though it took longer than he thought it would.

We are going to the harbor to fleet week for Isaac's birthday. We thought he would like seeing the big military ships and helicopters. He just woke up a few minutes ago and is already asking for cake. JD doesn't want him to see it until later when we get back from the city.

Tonight was the Joy School Graduation. I was really proud of Miah and the way she handled everything. I can't believe she will be going to school next year.

Flower Girl (s?)

Isaac was way more excited about the flower girl basket than Miah was. Don't worry though, it was just a resting place for his Doc car, so I don't think that makes him an official flower girl.

We enjoyed Ashley's wedding on the 11th. Congratulations Ashley and Ben!

Since Miah's actual birthday was the day of Ashley's wedding rehearsal dinner we had a birthday party with the Symes' on Friday the 8th. We got a pinata since Miah has asked her two previous birthdays for one. We had fun. Thanks to everyone who made it!

Today we went for horse rides at my friend Ammie's in Highland! Miah was excited and this year she actually did it! Isaac wasn't too sure and everytime we asked him he said "No", so we put him on anyway and he loved it!

We went and got haircuts on Wednesday. Miah and I both chopped our hair. Miah's looks super cute. It looks so much healthier and thicker! Mine on the other hand, well lets just say now I'm am thinking . . .What did I do?

We have been really busy and running around while here in Utah. Today is really the first day that I have nothing planned. I'm doing laundry, hoping to get some work done for my sister's work, and hopefully relaxing a little!

Yesterday I had a CTMH open house. It went well. I've been debating on whether to keep being a consultant or quit. I'm still not sure.

I'm still hoping to see more friends while we are here! It is just hard sometimes fitting everyone in and trying to arrange the car situation with my parents!

Easter shoes

Isaac has become very attached to his shoes that he got for Easter. Part of the reason is because he can put them on by himself. Recently he has started sleeping with them under his pillow because he can not part with them, even for the night!
