We went to the mall today to spend some time together before JD left to go back to NY.

Miah getting ready to leave for kindergarten orientation.Today was Miah's kindergarten orientation. It went well and her teacher seems nice. She will have an assessment test on Friday and starts regular kindergarten on the 31st.
Miah also had her first dentist appointment for her cavities to be fixed. She did very well, we were proud of her. The dentist told her that she did great and could come back anytime. Good thing since we will be back next Monday to do the other side of her mouth.
We just dropped JD off at the airport. Miah and I cried most of the way back. This is really hard. Hopefully something will work out soon and he can move to be with us all the time! We miss him!

Hey, Glad to hear your visit went well ! It would have been nice to see him but, I bet you wanted to him all to yourself ! Hopefully he'll be home soon ! Hang in there !
Sorry the visit couldn't be longer. I know it would have been better that way! But it will always be hard at the end, I'm sure of that! I can't wait to see you guys again soon. (it WILL be soon.) Love and miss you guys
