playing

The kids playing at JD's work.
One of JD's co-workers passed away yesterday, so we are going to her funeral on Saturday. It is so sad. She was only 38 and had two kids (I think around 9 and 5).

Miah thinks she is getting so big now and can order her own food. We went to Panera Bread ( a fun bakery here in the East). She walked up to the counter and said, "I would like two plain bagels, cream cheese and 2 apple juice. Thank you." Tonight we picked up JD from work and went to LIU for this year's graduating MFA show. She told me to stay where I was and went to the refreshment table several times to get treats for her and Isaac. Where has the time gone? I can't believe in about 2 weeks she will be 5. Our lives are certainly going to change once she starts school. It scares me a little!

I'm not sure how it happens, but I found that, as fast as life was going anyway, it sped up exponentially once Taylor started into school. Holy crap! she's going to be in 9th grade next year and I don't know how we got here!

Time sure does fly. I hope that I can say (looking back) that I did all that I could with them, and truly cherished all these special moments.
