Count your Blessings

Man, so many things have been happening to people that we care about. Today one of the nicest people that I have ever met passed away. Maelynn was only 30. She was married two weeks after me and has 5 kids. My heart is so full right now thinking of Andrew and their kids. I can't imagine what that would be like. We are glad she is not hurting anymore, but will surely miss her.
We are also thinking of my distant cousin and former USU roommate, Erin Hansen. She had her baby at 23 weeks. Baby Julia is now 2 weeks and had a heart surgery over the weekend.
Also a friend up at USU was Kelli Johnson. I posted about her on FB. She was in a terrible skiing accident on Christmas Eve. Her daughter died that was just about a year younger than Miah and she is still in the hospital fighting to get her life back.
Our good friends, Jeff and Tiscia, have been going through a lot lately too.
Lastly, I'm thinking of my Aunt Sharon. Her last day at FPSC was on Friday. I will miss seeing her there and am thinking of her all the time.
I'm just thinking and praying for all these people wishing that there was more that I could do besides sending them my love.
It makes me realize that I really need to be THANKFUL for all my family and friends and am thankful for everything that I have. If you can add these people into your prayers or good thoughts this week it would be appreciated!!

Christmas 2010

Isaac and Miah on Christmas Morning

Isaac with his presents

Miah with her presents

The aftermath on Sunday morning.

We had a great Christmas. My parents came up that morning to watch the kids open their gifts and to enjoy orange rolls. We played for a couple of hours, then went to WJ to watch the new Narnia movie. Then, we went to the Syme's house for a Christmas dinner.
Yesterday, the kids played and we relaxed.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve at the extended Syme family Christmas dinner we had a surprise guest. Here are a couple of pictures of the kids with Santa. They also got to see him at the Wilson Family Christmas party, but I forgot my camera that day!

Christmas Suprise & Doctor

JD surprised me by building some new shelves for my scrapbook stuff and giving me these beautiful calla lillies!

FYI: Some of you know that I have been having some health problems lately. I finally went to the doctor today. They did a biopsy of my uterus and took some blood for some tests. We will find out more on Jan. 24th

Temple Square

Hunting For Elves

We went to Gardner Village to hunt for Elves. It was decorated really cute. The kids, especially Miah would get so excited when they found one. It was fun until the end when Isaac was running on the cobblestone sidewalk and did a header into it. He had a nice goose egg and bruise on his forehead. He also cut his lip and scratched the side of his nose.
