Wilson reunion and summer update

No news yet on what we are doing. JD sent in more applications with a deadline of Aug 15th. We haven't decided what to do or when we feel like we can even make any decisions.

It has been nice seeing so many friends and family. I still haven't seen a few. I would like to make it to Ogden and Logan before possibly leaving.

We are going to the Syme cabin for the 24th of July. While there we will go to a great parade in Fountain Green.

Summer update

Yellowstone


Tired kids after spending the day in Yellowstone

We had a great time in Yellowstone. It was wonderful to have all of JD's family together. We had an awesome lodge in Island Park, Idaho. It was fun.

JD left to go back to NY last Wednesday. We miss him! He got the POD on Saturday and has been packing our apartment up. He will be staying with the Donegans (our branch president/friends) for a month or so until we decide what we are going to do.

The kids and I are heading to Colorado next week to go to the Wilson reunion (my Mom's family). We are looking forward to seeing everyone there.

We are in Utah!

We are here! Yeah! Tomorrow we are headed to Yellowstone. We are excited to spend time with JD's family! It is the first time that we will all be together in several years!

JD will fly back next Wednesday to pack us up and move out of our apartment. The kids and I are staying in Utah. We are hoping to hear about a job and move wherever that is. If not, in the beginning of August we will decide what we are going to do.

Our 7th Anniversary

Today, JD and I were married seven years ago. The time has went by so fast. For our anniversary we had some friends watch the kids overnight on Saturday. JD surprised me by taking me to the city to shop, Little Italy for dinner and pastries, and Broadway to see Phantom of the Opera. We have wanted to go see a show since moving here, but it just hadn't happened yet. Since this might be my last weekend in NY JD decided we had better do it.
It was a great day/night together. We stayed up until 2 and slept until 11. It was nice! The kids came back to us that afternoon. It was the first and only night we had spent alone in our apartment.

Miah had her Joy School graduation tonight. It was fun. I can't believe the year is already over! We will miss spending so much time with the other families that we did this with. I made them each a scrapbook to remember this special year.

Happy Birthday Isaac

Isaac had a good birthday today! He loved his presents. I could not get him to look at me once he got playing with the train set. He was so funny with it. He threw a fit when we made him go to bed because he just wanted to keep playing.

I won a contest for a free ice cream cake, so we used it for Isaac's birthday. He loved his M&M ice cream cake.

I can't believe my baby is two already. It has gone by so fast! He has really started repeating a lot of words this last week and a half. I was starting to get a little worried before, but now he is saying stuff all the time. It is amazing how much can change in their lives in less than two weeks! He has started to climb up into his high chair. He also started on Friday to climb in and out of his playpen. Scary. We will be getting him a big boy bed at our next place.
