So, I'm just feeling blah lately. I did talk to my mom tonight, which was good because they have been gone for 10 days on a cruise around Hawaii. They just got back this morning. Since I have moved to NY I talk to my mom a lot more than I did before. I have realized how much my family means to me, which I took for granted before. So, thanks family (and friends who are like family to us). We love you.
So my question to you is how do you get out of feeling the blues?

Isaac 3 month pages

Here are a couple of pages that I have been working on to get caught up on my goal. I'm only two pages behind now.
Things have been fine here. We have received several letters from Universities, but mostly just to say they have received everything. We did here back from Rice University that they were impressed with JD's portfolio, but they have hired someone else. We also heard from the one in North Carolina that I was hopeful about and he didn't get it. I was impressed with these two school because they accepted application until January 15 and have already decided and let people know. It makes me think they might have had someone in mind already.
Isaac has finally broke his last tooth. I'm glad because he has been waking up at night. That is one of the hardest part for me because I like my sleep.
We missed Joy School yesterday because I was not feeling well. I felt bad, but it is the first time we have missed while here in NY.
We are looking forward to the weather getting a little warmer. We want to to be able to go to the Bronx Zoo, beaches, and parks again. It will be nice to get out of our small apartment.

Blogarithm.com
On the right side of my blog I added a link that you can keep track of this blog through your email. This is a nice way to keep track of blogs. By adding yourself you will be emailed when there are updates instead of checking back and having nothing there. You just have to put in your email and follow the promptings to finish. Hope this helps those of you who didn't already know about it.

Loss of President Hinckley
I'm up late tonight and decided to check my email and heard the news of President Hinckley's passing. I'm sad for the loss of such a wonderful president to the LDS church. I know that he is happy being reunited with his wife Marjorie.
It is hard not to be in Utah for these kind of happenings. It is not the same reading about it on the internet. If you see any great stories in the paper or on the news let me know so that I can try to find it on the net.

Getting Started
So, I've been thinking of creating a blog for a little bit. Today is the day! My friend Jana has been doing this for awhile and I thought it was good idea. JD said this will be our modern family newsletter.
The kids and I returned from Utah on Jan. 8th. It is nice to be back with JD, but the adjustment is taking more time than it has before.
Miah is doing well and enjoying Joy School. She has set a goal to learn my cell phone number. She is also really into learning her letters. She watches her Letter DVD everyday since getting it for Christmas. That is helping her learn the sounds of the letters.
Isaac likes to watch the Letter DVD too. He still isn't saying too much. He has started saying "go" all the time. He also started saying ball.
JD has been busy this month applying all over. He has out 28 applications this month. Hopefully something will come up. Two of them are for BYU, so that would be great to return home.
I've just been trying to get things back to normal now that we are back in New York. I've set a goal for myself this year to do at least 1 scrapbook page each week. Not too much right? Well I'm not off to the best start since I don't have any pages done. I have been working on a lot of cards and playing with my new Cricut.
