Christmas Suprise & Doctor

JD surprised me by building some new shelves for my scrapbook stuff and giving me these beautiful calla lillies!

FYI: Some of you know that I have been having some health problems lately. I finally went to the doctor today. They did a biopsy of my uterus and took some blood for some tests. We will find out more on Jan. 24th

Temple Square

Hunting For Elves

We went to Gardner Village to hunt for Elves. It was decorated really cute. The kids, especially Miah would get so excited when they found one. It was fun until the end when Isaac was running on the cobblestone sidewalk and did a header into it. He had a nice goose egg and bruise on his forehead. He also cut his lip and scratched the side of his nose.

JCP pics

We just had our pictures done on Saturday. Here are some of my favorites!

Thanksgiving

We had a nice Thanksgiving with the Syme family this year. I forgot my camera, so I do not have any pictures. Oops!
We enjoyed dinner at Dave and Peggy's around 2. Then headed down to Jeff and Tiscia's to get ready for Black Friday shopping. JD even got in the action this year by going himself to Walmart at midnight. Tiscia and I were there at 5. We didn't return until after 11. It was fun, but I spend more than I meant to!

I've been wondering what I was going to do this year. For years I have been making my own Christmas cards, but this year I didn't know if I would have time. I know that we couldn't afford something I really loved and so I was excited to see this offer from Shutterfly!

My favorite Christmas Cards that I have sent were around 3 years ago when JD drew the pictures of Miah and Isaac. I printed their pictures on cardstock and used a circle punch to cut out their faces. I made the rest of the card with scrapbook supplies but they turned out so cute. I loved the design and the colors (of course since my favorite is maroon). I love that I could share my kid’s faces with everyone, not just the few family members that I could afford to give photos to. Shutterfly has some really cute stuff. I've only developed some pictures once from them, so I'm excited to try some new products.
