We reserved our POD yesterday, so now it officially feels like we are moving. It would be wonderful to know WHERE we were moving, but it feels nice to know that I am getting out of this apartment! I even packed my first box last week. I keep telling myself to pack one a day, but I only got the one finished! I really want to pack my scrapbook stuff and my clothes, so that I can go through everything.
We went to the zoo on Saturday (since we didn't get to go on Miah's birthday because we were having the car fixed). It was fun to go do the few things that we hadn't done yet. The Bronx Zoo really is a great zoo and we will miss our membership there.
My niece, Addie is going to have heart surgery on Monday. As I understand it, this is the last surgery to repair her heart, the next one that she will need is a heart transplant. If you can, please remember her in your prayers. She is only 5 years old and I can't imagine what my brother and his wife are going through.
Also, those of you who do not have a blog and haven't been able to post comments, I made anonymous and option, so now you can leave comments. Please do because it is nice to hear from you and know this is being read.

Happy Birthday Miah!
Miah is 4 today!
I can't believe how fast the time has went!
I made a little slide show of photos of her in the past year
and some of the fun things that have happened in her life.

Cherry Blossoms
missionary companion, Tim. That helped us be able to see Washington DC.
Saturday we went to the Native American Smithsonian Museum. They had a neat exhibit of Women's Dresses.
The we walked around the mall taking pictures in front of the capital and Washington Monuments. We walked all the way to the
American History Museum and it was closed for renovations.
It was one that I really wanted to see! We then walked to the Smithsonian Castle Building and to the Holocaust Museum.
We did not get to see too much there because you have to have tickets to go to the main exhibit.
We then drove around to see the White House.
It was kind of a rainy day, but we still enjoyed what we saw.
We are glad to be back for a little bit, but it was sure great to have our little vacation.
It was especially nice to have gas and all the tolls paid for by JD's work!
Our good friends, Jeff and Tiscia, are coming with their little boy on Saturday.
We are going to Palmyra and show them the city next week.

Baltimore again
We are heading to Baltimore again tonight. We are planning to stay through Sunday. During the weekend we are going to stay with one of JD's missionary companions, then we can hopefully see DC before coming back.
Have a good week!
ps JD heard from 3 more schools over the weekend. We have sent out 65 and heard from 14 now. Three of the schools we have heard from have had their funding pulled, so they didn't hire anyone. We are still hopeful (especially about BYU)!
